Information technology (IT) is the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, graphical information, textual and numerical by a combination of information technology based on microelectronics and telecommunications. [1] The term in its modern sense arose in a 1958 article published in the Harvard Business Review, in which the authors Leavitt and Whisler said: "The new technology has not yet established a unique name. IT provides companies with four sets of basic services to help implement the business strategy. The four core services are broken in the automation of business processes, providing information, connecting with customers, and productivity tools.


IT professionals perform a variety of tasks (IT disciplines / skills) that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and databases. Some of the tasks, IT professionals can play include data management, networking, engineering computer hardware, database and software, as well as management and administration of entire systems. Information technology has begun to spread beyond the traditional personal computers and networks, and most of integrations with other technologies, such as the use of mobile phones, televisions, automobiles, and more, which increases the demand for these jobs.
