Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL ®) is a series of books that describe methods for implementing and managing information technology (IT) services. The methods described in the library is designed to simplify the organization, improving IT services, or execution, the tactic of IT environments, such as problem-awareness and emergency plans, costs and management of software and hardware configuration.
Managers need at least a bachelor's degree in information technology and may benefit from additional courses in business management. Business management classes that allow the leadership skills, learn to work with others as a team skills of communication and conflict management in the workplace, which are all skills that any manager needs.
