Analogue Computers

Saturday, 16 July 2011

Analog computers and digital computers are two types of computers, which together are responsible for the invention of modern computers hybrids. Analog systems perform arithmetic and logical operations to manipulate and process the data you enter, such as weight, temperature, power density of tension, etc. But unlike the digital computer, which changes all the inputs of binary digits of "1" and "0" means that the computer does not change the analog input data for such a sign.

The analog computer type is obsolete in these days of computers. It differs from a digital computer, because you can perform many mathematical operations simultaneously. Digital computer, but could not run more complex operations. The analog system is also unique in terms of activity, because it uses continuous variables for the mathematical calculation. It makes use of mechanical, hydraulic energy, or electric or activities.
